We all are aware of girls craziness about their nails. But here a girl named Simone Taylor who is 16 years old went on viral with the news that she hasn’t cut her nails for three years.

There are plenty disgusting things that all humans do for love of everything. This 16 years young girl student from Nuremberg, Germany hasn’t clipped her nails at all since August 2014. She now has nails that measure 15 centimeters long which is almost about 6 inches.

Have a look on her statement “I have exams at the moment and it’s hard to write, after an hour of writing my hands really hurt. On the computer, I have to type using my knuckles.” She further adds “PE is a huge problem. I can’t play volleyball, basketball or anything similar. My PE teachers are always trying to convince me to cut my nails. They’ll never succeed in convincing me – but that makes my grades in PE really bad.”

Simone was inspired to start growing her nails after watching nail art tutorials online. She also discovered that some artists had long nails. She confessed that she is scared of nail clippers. During her first year, she always thought to cut them the next day, but she never did.She told that she takes three hours to paint her nails that includes applying two base coats and a top coat and for her it takes an hour-and-a-half to remove polish on them. To strengthen them, she uses two coats of nail hardener and she paints them with cuticle oil every time, and to keep them hygienic, she cleans the undersides with a cotton bud every day. She sticks to budget brands, she spends around £25 on maintaining them every month, which she pays for with money won in a nail contest.

Coming to her daily routine she is careful while getting dressed. Even though her nails doesn’t break, she said that it hurts a lot when they get caught on clothing. And so she take things very slow. Buttoning up a shirt for her take ages. Simone said: “Cleaning my teeth and using the toilet aren’t a problem. She even came across few questions which were funnily enough for her. Let’s see what are those in her words. “A lot of people ask the toilet question when they see my nails for the first time”. I just give a freaking smile and say “Showering my hair is a bit more difficult. I have to be extra carefulsince my nails get caught in my hair.”

She finally concludes by saying “I hope I can inspire people, not only to grow their nails but also to keep doing their thing, even though not everyone might like it.”

How crazy is this!!!
